"My home" Missouri by bpwillet

Lately every time I get a chance to go home it is to run around. I run to friends houses, lunch dates, I splurge with blatent consumerism and I hardly have time to rest. I enjoy the time I get to spend with my family. I have grown up in St. Louis, Missouri but I have spent considerable time in and around Branson over the years. But through all my travels this is still the place I can call "home". Even if it seems like I just pass through or sleep over. I am always greeted with friendly faces, family hugs, and great memories.

Other places I have been in Missouri are Kansas City, and Branson area. I went to an amazing camp in southern Missouri called Kanakuk. It still is one of the greatest places on earth. I went for about 11 years total over the summers.

Honestly one of the few cities in Missouri I was actually a "tourist". I couldn't even cover all I could in this great city in the 5 hours I was there. I spent most of it in the Plaza area downtown. Though one of the nicest and most done up areas I have been to, it is definitely worth spending time there. Plus, there are many locals that share that idea.
