Buenas Migas: Great locale

This has got to be the best place to relax, in my opinion, if you are busy around the Barri Gotic. The corner windo is my favorite spot. It had to have been the company I am sure but it was fantastic! The music ranges from jazzy-traditional to classical acoustic. It is so fun. The interior is pretty rustic and that adds to the atmosphere. The art on the walls is done by local artists and it seems to change on a daily basis.

Favorite Dish: You really should try their homemade tortes. The "salada", or salted ones, are phenomenal and quite well proportioned. The sweet ones are great as well. The guys who work there are also very friendly and very helpful.

Taller de Tapas: Fresh tapas Taller deTapas Review

One of the nicest settings around the Santa Maria del Pi and the Call area of the Barri Gotic. There is seating available inside or out right next to the the church. The fresh vegetables and the amazing local specialties are good any time of day. You may even get serenaded by local musicians.

Favorite Dish: The best stuff is what is in season.

Tapas cafe and restaurant: Try the daily specials

This is a small but friendly "mom and pop" type place to eat. I it is along the Plaza de Gaudi across from the Sagrada Familia. Their specials were great and they change every day. The owners are very sweet people and it is frequented by a lot of locals.

El Xampanyet: Sidra fresca! El Xampanyet Review

This is a great little place tucked away along the Carrer Montcada. The atmosphere is everything I would hope it would be. The guys behind the counter were really friendly and very helpful. The tapas that were on hand were amazing. Go ahead and try anything. They will make a plate for you if you want to try different ones if you want to. It was so worth it and definitely a place that met my expectations of a tapas bar.
