Cordova Travel Guide: 35 reviews and 43 photos
I grew up in Cordova and this was my first visit back since 1975. It was every bit as beautiful as I remembered...and then some. My family and I lived out at Mile 13, at the airport. It was very common to see moose, bear and eagles on our way into town.
- Pros:Beautiful scenery, friendly town
- Cons:Visit wasn't long enough
- In a nutshell:Definitely worth seeing

Thanks for the Cordova tips, Cindy, especially the information on the glaciers. I hope to make it there some day. Hope you get to sleep until noon each day. :)
Nice tips. Have passed thru on the milk run to Juneau many times. Will have to stay longer. Birthday Greetings from the Aleutians!
