Queensland - a state of contrast. Queensland sits on the North-Eastern part of Australia and is probably most famous for attractions such as the Gold Coast (touristy beach side Hawaiian wannabe area), Daintree Rainforest, Great Barrier Reef, Cairns and Port Douglass.
Inland Queensland is completely different again - the South West Corner sits in the Sturt Stony desert, and there are vast tracts of uninhabited coastline along its Northern border.
