Some information about...

Langeoog is a 20 qkm island on the North Sea with about 2150 inhabitants. It has 14 km long beach.

Langeoog is about 8 km far from the land. You can approach the island by ferryboat or by plane.

It's a lovely island with absolutely fresh air. There are only cars with electric engine and a small train. The train carries the passengers and their packages from/to the southern harbour to/from the north where the village and the beach are.

With a 14 km beach, I suppose that Langeoog means something like 'Longbeach'. Only electrical powered cars ! What a marvel of an unpolluted place !

From the sound of the name, you might think that "Langeoog" was in Australia. It looks like a very clean place - except for the sea gulls!
