Adelaide is the most populous city of South Australia with approx. 1.2 million inhabitants, and is the fifth-largest city in Australia. It was founded in 1836.

Barossa Valley is Australia's most well known wine growing region, with up to fifty wineries. It is situated only a half hours drive heading to north-east from Adelaide, with spectacular scenery along the way.

There are some conservation parks just around Adelaide, which are worth a visit: Cleland Conservation Park with the Cleland Wildlife Park, Mt Lofty Conservation Park with the Mt Lofty Lookout to the City.
