  • Lamington National Park is situated approximately 100km south of Brisbane. In this Park You can hike on a wide variety of walking tracks and You can see a wide range of Queensland's wildlife and plants. There are some walking tracks, where, after some rainy days, You can see waterfalls - otherwise only falls.

    North Stradbroke Island is easily accessible by fast water taxi or vehicular ferry from Cleveland. Cleveland is about 45 minutes drive from Brisbane City.

     Very happy to hear you enjoyed ur time in Brizzy and found us to be a friendly lot - very nice compliment. Hmmm... I would love to drive across Europe too, but driving on the right hand side of the road is difficult for me!! Budapest is on my wish list...

     Andras, Australia is a great land. I was only in Brisbane for 2 hours (in the airport) on my way to Cairns. Next time I plan to pay a visit!
