Getting started

Since I got my driving license I'd been dreaming about to drive through all over Europe. It was only a dream then, because I was a student without an own car. In the very beginning of 2001 I bought my first car, so in that summer my dream came true and I started to explore Europe...

Journey without my VW

How is it possible? There are some places in the World, where so complicate to get to by car from Hungary. For example to Australia. In November 2004 I left Europe and using another type of vehicle I got to Brisbane (AU), where I spent 3 very nice and unforgettable weeks.

Moved to Brisbane from Budapest

Four and a half years after my first visit to Australia, I moved to Brisbane in March 2009. It was a significant change in my life. And yes, of course, I had to say goodbye to my beloved VW (I sold it). The new task: exploring Australia with a new zoom-zoom car.

Traveller or tourist?

When a "6" tries to assimilate

What's the different? Well, the traveller has time, the tourist has holiday. The traveller is able to assimilate and become invisible, the tourist is always recognizable. The traveller thinks "the World is beautiful", the tourist says "don't disturb, I'm on holiday".

Well, what am I? If traveller means 1 and tourist means 10, then I'm 6, but I'd like to be 3 at least.
