The heart of York

In the centre of a busy town
The minister has been around for a long time and is one of the more beautiful buildings in the city. Once upon a time there was a fire, but it is all restored now.
The railway station

Travel to York

In latter years the railways were important to York. The station has a magnificent roof over it's curved platforms and there is a fine museum with some great engines.
York racecourse on a quiet evening

there was a highway man

There was that fabled ride from London to York by Dick Turpin, whose grave is in York. Did it really hapen? It's not so important because the horses still run at the race course.

 I was thinking they must have been up in a balloon or something for the minster shot! Like the shot inside the balloon.
