Semana Santa in Algeciras Algeciras has always conjured up Morocco in my mind, but this is very much Spain and during Holy Week, the nightly processions through the city are very well attended. But of course there is much more to see and if you like shopping head for the big store on the port side El Corte Ingles / Hipercop. You can find everything here as well as a nice restaurant with views over to Gibraltar ! But don't leave a tip - it's not allowed - company rules ! |

| Pros: | "Great base for going to Morocco on the boat or exploring inland by bus or train." | | Cons: | "A little run down in places but the centre is nice." | | In A Nutshell: | "Quite unique and not your sea side holiday resort !" |
