Ottawa might qualify as the first place I ever visited, since legend has it that I was conceived there. My parents went to Ottawa to visit my aunt who had just given birth to a baby boy. The story goes that my little cousin was so darn cute that my parents decided to have another child, and nine months later I popped into the world.
Over the years I have travelled to Ottawa many times, mostly for visiting family. This year hubby and I decided to come to Ottawa specifically to see the sights and have a fun getaway to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary.
We were not disappointed. Ottawa is a city with lots to offer. There are some great tips on Virtual Tourist , and we made a few finds of our own that helped make our trip a fun and memorable one. |
