I just was in Guadalajara for a couple days, but it is a beautiful city. Guadalajara is the capital of the state of Jalisco, Mexico's second largest city with a population of about 7 million. Many people live in the surrounding areas, there are many small towns outside the city. There are lots of nice shopping malls, such as the Centro Magno, which is several stories and has a large cineplex. Great architecture around the city also.

This is a huge mural about the Mexican Revolution located in one of the stairwells inside. There is no admission to tour the grounds. For more information, check out my must see activities.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:architecture...shopping...lots to see...
  • Cons:it's HUGE, so watch out you don't get lost!!

    Haven't been to Mexico yet, but if I ever get there, I will hire a horse and buggy. LOL
