Venice, to me, has always seemed like such a romantic place... this unusual city on the water...
Seeing it in real life... I really had to pinch myself because I felt like I was literally in a postcard... it was so surreal!
The days we were in Venice, it was mostly overcast and one day it drizzled a bit. It is a very confusing city to get around in and hard to get your bearings, so it is essential to carry a street map with you.
Venice was lovely, romantic and magical...

Like many hotels in Italy, Hotel Mercurio is located in a very old building. It is located on the 2nd and 3rd floors.... more travel advice

Lucky us, you have a lot to travel in Europe and I have the same with you country. What a pity that the time is so limited, I really have a quite large scale tourist country still to visit. Some day, through Canada with motorcycle :) I read you Canada tips next. Take care.
