Make-it-yourself Taco Stand - Scottsdale

Visit to Arizona

In April 2002, my department (Sales and Marketing) held the national sales meeting in Scottsdale Arizona, at the Doubletree Resort. While a lot of our time was tied up in meetings, we were able to spend time sightseeing, and different activities. We were treated incredibly well at the resort and fed incredibly amazingly well.

Couldn't go to Arizona and not try a trail ride. Unfortunately, it was not down the Grand Canyon... but it was still and adventure. 4 of our team went.. and we learned a bit about the desert vegetation from horseback.

An Evening Out in the Desert

We were taken out by jeep to see some of the cacti and the desert beauty outside of Scottsdale. It was quite an experience, the drivers were wild... the road was bumpy... and where were the doors????? I kept hoping that we'd be finding some real cowboys... but these guys were all eastern-US born. *sigh*

Pros and Cons
