Where would Swiss Chocolate be without Suchard?

Where would Swiss Chocolate be without Philippe Suchard, founder of Suchard Chocolates... Suchardise, and many many chocolate bars?!!!?
The Suchard factory was down the street from where I lived in Neuchatel and if it was going to rain, the wind would come up from the south and bring the fragrance from the factory to my bus stop. It rained alot!!!! *sigh*

It actually took a visit back in 1986 to finally have a tour of the plant.
I don't think I could stand working around all that sweetness day after day - not that I'd want to eat it all, but that I'd find it very overwhelming and too much. It was quite a sickeningly sweet smell. hmmmm maybe that wouldn't be such a bad idea, to work there for awhile!

Pros and Cons

Pros:Lots of museums, waterfront, places to explore and exceptionally distinct French
Cons:Not the wildest nightlife if that is your thing
In a nutshell:Wine and Chocolate... what more does one need?
