"The REAL capitol of England" Dukinfield by bscott1

I lived in Dukinfield for over a year and I really want to dispute the fact that London is the capitol. Based on my experience, the guides have conspired to deceive people to visit London. Shortly after moving to England, however, I was quickly corrected and advised that Dukinfield is the capitol and that Stalybridge is the Las Vegas of England (sorry, folks, Blackpool is the Atlantic City of England).

For the best shopping, I discovered Ashton-under-Lyne is the place to go, not Regent Street or whatever type of "posh" shopping they're trying to suck you into.
