Egeskov Castle - Egeskov

Egeskov castle was built on logs in the middle of a pond in 1554. It was really a manor house, as opposed to a fortified castle, but if you are in the isle of Fyn (Funen) this makes for a good day trip.

You can see the main rooms of the castle on the "must see" pages, but in addition, there are outbuildings of livestock, old cars, farm machinery, old fire engines, and numerous other collections if you are interested in that sort of thing.
