A wonderful place to visit in the middle of the summer, visiting the Lofoten Islands in the land of the midnight sun was well worth a visit. The unique craggy mountains and the storybook-picturesque peaceful fishing villages make for a good 3-4 day stopover.

I only spent time on the island of Austvågøy, which is part of a chain of four main islands, all of which are apparently known for their unique aspects of beauty.
