| Not a great day for sightseeing! |
I have been to San Diego a few times over the past two years, and somehow have managed to go only on rainy days...it must be something to do with being British!!
San Diego is home of the wonderful spring race The San Diego Crew Classic. It is a 2000m, multi lane rowing race in Mission Bay. The competitiors include schools, universities and clubs from all over America, the competition is fierce, and the sun usually shines! The race is run over the first weekend in April, and is the first big rowing race of the regatta season.
Earlier in year is the San Diego Indoor Rowing Race. Indoor rowing is an East Coast winter staple for when the water is too frozen to row, not usually a problem in San Diego!! |
