| | Just 60 miles north of London, you can reach Cambridge easily by train or coach. If you are using the car, parking in the centre is expensive and there are ‘Park and Ride’ services organized at different locations near the city - parking is free, then the bus (return bus fare £2) takes you to the very centre. Cambridge will charm you with its parks and colleges and spoil you for choice with its shops and shopping centres. If you are visiting during the Summer season one thing that you must do in Cambridge is punting (there are photos and info about it in my ‘things to do’ tips) You can see photos of some of the colleges, King’s College, Trinity College, St. John’s College, in my travelogues on this page. Colleges are a must see ( and a ‘can’t miss’ ‘cause they are everywhere) in Cambridge, the scenery around the colleges is beautiful throughout the year. |
