Just 30-40 (depending on traffic) minutes from the center of casino town is an amazing rock climbing area, containing everything from overbolted short sport climbs to long multi-pitch traditional routes.

Equipment: Rock climbing gear, sunscreen and a good guide to climbing there! We used the Falcon Guide "Rock Climbing Red Rocks" by Todd Swain (available at climbing stores or on the internet from on-line climbing stores).

If you search on the internet you can find many personal web sites which reference this giant area, and explain much more about it than is possible here. There is enough climbing to keep you busy for years!

    Phone: 1-702-363-1921
Address: Hwy 159 West from Las Vegas
Directions: Take the loop road, and pick a pull out. The road is in one direction. Don't forget it takes awhile to get out if you stop at the first pullout and the park is about to close!!

Yes, I agree with you. The Paris Buffet is my number one pick for best food at the price in Vegas. We like to go for late breakfast.Excellent. The line is long, but be patient!

Awesome, I climbed Dark Shadows when I was there too, such a great climb. Did you go all the way up, or stop at the roof?
