  • If you want to treat yourself, and you like things with a more European flair, check out Paris. This place has been done up VERY well compared to all the other hotels in town to really give you the feeling of Europe/Paris. The restaurants inside the complex are very good, and if you like the Art Nouveau style (like the Paris Metro iron work) you will love the feeling you get from staying here.

If you are French or you know French, you will get a real kick out of hearing people greet you at the doors with 'Bonjour' said in a strong southern/western US accent - it's quite funny. Try answering back in French, and watch their faces! ;-)

Unique Qualities: Replica of the Tour Eiffel and various other Parisienne monuments surround you. Looks great at night, and you definitely can't miss the hotel when you want to wander back late at night.

We found best deals on the internet, but still this place is pricier than many places to stay in Vegas. Great for romantic types. Not very affordable for families (but that doesn't stop you from shopping or gambling there or just taking in the sights!)

  • I stayed here for a conference. I got a better deal on the internet, from the Bally's website than I did from the conference 'special offers'!

Rooms are very big and have great setups if you need to plug in your laptop to work (as I did).

Didn't like that other things like working out in the health club were an extra charge.

Unique Qualities: This is a more typical yet very classy Vegas casino - no fancy themes but very clean and shiney. Lots and lots of gambling, well laid out and efficiently run. Well, it's sort of clean -- it does have those show girl shows (titties, feathers and all) which are probably only worth being seen at a discount (a friend won tickets for free or I'd have never gone, but it was interesting 'culture', I suppose - tackiest music I've heard in a long time, though I suppose that's not why most of the guys were there).

Yes, I agree with you. The Paris Buffet is my number one pick for best food at the price in Vegas. We like to go for late breakfast.Excellent. The line is long, but be patient!

Awesome, I climbed Dark Shadows when I was there too, such a great climb. Did you go all the way up, or stop at the roof?
