Nightlife Spot: Richi's Pub

This is a locals hangout that previously was full of older men, and not much else! But now with new management (same owners) they are attracting a younger crowd. Pool table, outdoor patio area in summer provides relief from smoke, which gets very thick inside. Not over-priced!! A place to hang out w/friends, not a place to dance - lots of tables and some couches outside. Rock music from CDs. Live music on some nights.

During the day you can sometimes get snacks served here from the Cafe Pernet. It is in the same building as the Cafe Pernet.

The owners (and many of the staff) speak of course Swiss German, German and also very good English & French.

Directions: On the main street in 'downtown' Gstaad (there is one big street with the supermarket, tennis stadium etc. along it). In town several street signs point in the direction of Richi's Pub so it is not hard to find!
