Fall in Paris

by firechick - last update: Jan 7, 2004

Montmartre

Impending storm, Mont Martre
Shopping in Paris was, of course amazing! Could have spent much more time on this activity....

Definitely check out Printemps, which is easily accessed from the Opera stop of the Metro.

Also they have a very cool and not too expensive cafe inside, called Cafe Flo with a beautiful stained glass domed ceiling.

Also did the normal Tour Eiffel, Arc de Triomphe etc...

Fall can be rainy but is not crowded!
Stairs to Arc de Triomphe

Spiral staircase - Arc de Triomphe

Be prepared to get dizzy getting up/down from the Arc! Beautiful but looong spiral staircase......

Tour Eiffel (but of course!)

@parismumsie, I am pretty sure I took the one of the Sacre Coeur from the Eiffel tower (one of the viewing platforms). A storm was coming so the sky was dark, but sunlight was hitting the church, making it look dramatic.

Your photographs are exceptional. Where is the one of the Sacre Coeur taken from?
