Obviously Manchester being my home town means that there will be a little bias but i can tell you that no visit to the UK is complete without a trip to Manchester.
The place was ripped apart by a bomb in 1996(ish) and most of the city centre had been damaged. What you see today in Manchester is a city reborn. With all the major brands moving into the city. Selfridges has just opened and the famous Harvey Nic's isn't far away from completion either.
The nightlife is great as well and you are spoilt for choice with the number of bars and restaurants accross the city.
Oh, and you should visit Old Trafford the home of the mighty Man United! |
