Theme: Boating/Sailing

The whole lake is good for sailing, but the stronger winds are in the north side, where the mountains sorrounding the lake are every mile nearest each other. Sort of Venturi effect.
So, if you are a windsurfer (or kite surfer), the best places are North of Malcesine (Verona Province) to Torbole (Trento province) and Campione del Garda (Brescia province, just below a vertical cliff).
All the rest may do if you sail something that floats even if slow....

Directions: The norther you go, the better it is (of course i speak to sailors.... motorists.... well, that's another story)

Theme: Other

I confess i don't exactly know where they jump from, but it's easy to see a lot of parachute gliders to land in a field between San Verolo (see the picture #2) and Costermano (on the backgrounds of Garda).
Someone jumps from the upper side of the Malcesine cableway (a little less than 2,000 meters high), down till the lake surface (68 meters upun sea level) : if the day is clear it should be a real blast!

Equipment: I'm not an expert... I simply admire them....

Theme: Hiking

I discovered this volunteers association by chanche.

They organize and offer nice and guided hiking itineraries all around the garda zone.

So bad i saw their summer program too late, but good for another year.
Most of the programmes are traslated in one or more languages

Their itineraries are targeted midway between nature and art.

All of their excursions are offered for free. What more can you ask?

Equipment: Nothing special: very baisc and easy hiking
