The Peak Tram:
This is the best way to see the views of Hong Kong. The Tram climbs smoothly up to 396 metres above sea level.
It also includes Restaurants, Madam Tussauds Wax Museum and a viewing platform. It's a must do!!

Pros and Cons

Pros:Exciting street Markets
Cons:Indian hawkers harrassing
In a nutshell:Kowloon is the best part and I would suggest staying near the markets away from the water front.

I took my mom here back in '95...I remember those bird markets, but also the severe bank and swoop our 747 took right through downtown HK on its way to the old airport there! Yikes, what a feeling! ;-O
