So close to Sydney but another world.

We had been several times to Sydney till we actually managed to get to the Blue Mountains.
Why had we not been there earlier?
From the Katoomba Skyway, the Scenic Railway to the The Three sisters and lots of other rock formations, its a visit you shouldn't miss.

Where is it?

From sydney take the m4 motorway west through the blue Mountains, Katoomba, past victoria on the Great Western Highway.
Just after Victoria Pass u will see the Jenolan Caves turnoff.

Pros and Cons

Pros:different scenery, lots to see.
In a nutshell:If in Sydney not to be missed.

Hello! The Skyway has been replaced with a new carriage that has glass floors you can look through!

Love your pictures of the Jenolan Caves. They bring back great memories for me, having stayed there back in Aug 2000. Such a fascinating place. My first time in caves.
