Cross over to the border to the west and south west of Kuala Lumpur, you're in the Malaysian State of SELANGOR!! :-)

Travelling to Selangor from Kuala Lumpur on the Federal Highway, you'll be greeted by the 'Kota Darul Ehsan' as you approach the Kuala Lumpur-Selangor border.

The thriving state with the most and the finest educational institutions in the country, is home to the towns of Petaling Jaya, Sunway (where the Asian Sphinx & Pyramids, water themepark, and the longest suspension bridge in South-East Asia can be found), Subang, Damansara, etc.

It is also here in Selangor, where you can find the Batu Caves with the famous steps to the temple within the caves, the popular forest reserve documented in the National Geographics and the fishing village of Kuala Selangor where the fireflies roam.

A display of the most modern and developed along with the most untouched natural beauty goes along side-by-side here ... where industries and businesses thrive yet largely popular residential areas and natural habitats co-exists well together.

This is also the state where many of the working population in Kuala Lumpur (especially those with families) chose to live in, and commute to work daily in the nation's capital.
