I've always enjoyed travelling whether its a new destination to explore or somewhere I've been many times before. At the end of 2006, I took the opportunity start operating my own travel agency - Explorer Travel.

I specialise in travel to Egypt, Russia, Central and Southern Africa and escorted Battlefield excursions. I have a dedicated website for each of these:

Hopefully, I can provide some useful information regarding these and other destinations I have visited.

As with most people, I have a destination I go back to regularly but I also like to find and explore new places in the world. Time and money also come into the equation.

For family holidays, we normally head off to Sharm el Sheikh. I'm free to go off scuba diving while the family relax on the beach. In the evening, we go into Na'ama Bay or the Old Town for a meal a couple of drinks.

Although Sharm is an old favourite, we also like to discover new places too. High on the list for 2008 are Dubai and Vietnam but we'll see what deals can be found nearer the time.

I also like to try to visit places that are relevant to my business which in turn means I can offer better advice to people looking to go there on holiday.

For the last few years, I've been following the England football time all over the place. Its a real shame we haven't qualified for the Euro 2008 finals as Switzerland and Austria are both excellent places to visit.

However, the qualifying matches for the 2010 World Cup start in September and we've been handed some interesting trips to places like Kazakhstan and Belarus as well as the Ukraine. We're also visiting two places I've already been - Croatia and Andorra (although the game will almost certainly be played in Barcelona).
