Wow, this place is bigger than I thought...
The Taj Mahal (crown palace) really is beautiful - its white marble that glows in different colours depending on the surrounding light. It also has lots of marble inlay of different gemstones - black is Star of India, yellow - tiger eye, blue - lapis lazuli, etc...

Here you can see some of the detail work right above where you walk into the entranceway to see the 'for show' tombs. (The real tombs of Mumtaz Mahal and Shah Jahan are hidden).
