Nightlife Spot: byward market
The byward market, located downtown ottawa, by the rideau centre is a great place to head for a night out in ottawa. There are tonnes of pubs, bars and nightclubs. This is a popular spot among university students. Popular places are "the cabin", 'on tap", "
minglewoods" , these are all small sweaty bar/pub type, they have about $3 cover, and way too many ppl in them, club 34 is a little more classy. There are soo many bars and pubs you can just bar hop til you find one you like

Dress Code: varies, but usually jeans and nice shirt will get you in everywhere, ottawa is pretty casual overall, although some people do dress it up a bit.
