A semester away

I spent one semester living/studying in Melbourne. It is a great city, with countless restaurants, cafes and numerous other things to do, and then there is the crown casino complex. The weather is great, not quite as hot as the northern parts of Australia. There is always a festival or event going on in the city. There is also many great day trips that can be taken from Melbourne.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:Beautiful city, countless things to do, and great people
  • Cons:Not as warm as other cities in Australia
  • In a nutshell:definitely deserves more than a day or two visit

    Great opening photo of Southbank! I stayed w/ a friend for 2 weeks who lived just one block from the footbridge & have stayed at the Sheraton. Another friend sells her artwork at the Vic Arts Center crafts market every Sunday.
