The beaches are great RV spots are in bad condition, park is unkept. Trash is left everywhere!the park system does not mow . stickers are bad. money for the rv parking is misleading. They require a $15 deposit for electricity you do not get it back!!

We were very excited to try this establishment, but found it to be closed up. Sign on the door says it closed down because of city violations or something. Looks like it had been closed up a while.

They are currently adding more to the Laguna Madre Nature Trail, which means if you've been here, you'll have to come back in a few years to experience the new trail!

Hi! Now that we've moved to Texas, we eventually hope to see S. Padre Island. It looks like there are lots of things to do here--I especially was interested in the turtle sanctuary. Would you recommend a particular time to visit the island? THANKS!
