    • Restaurant Name: Abbott's Frozen Custard

    After taking us for a personally guided tour of Fairport Village on a warm July 4 day, our daughter, Laura, treated us to an Abbott's Frozen Custard. Abbott's is a regional speciality which has been very popular in Fairport and Rochester since 1902, and for good reason. It's yummy.

    Favorite Dish: I tried Abbott's Famous Chocolate Almond Sundae. I ate the whole thing, and wish I had another one right now.

     The bridge seems quite amazing; no wonder it's in the Believe it or Not! Laura & Brian's home is beautiful & huge. Fairport seems a delightful "bedroom" community. Erie Canal was quite a feat (as I recall from Ohio). Love photo of you eating the custard.
