Beautiful Downtown Conn, Mississippi - Conn

While traveling in southwestern Mississippi in the late 1990's, I was very intrigued to see a town on the map named "Conn." Actually it was on an older map that I happened to have. I could not find Conn on the most recent Official Highway Map of Mississippi. Anyway I took a long detour to check out this place in Copiah County which bears my family name. Could it have been settled by some distant kin? The Conn ancestors I have knowledge of came to America from Ireland, and settled in North Georgia, probably in the late 1700's. The only thing I know about the Mississippi branch of the Conns is that they don't live in Conn any more.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Peaceful, Quite, Deserted
Cons:Nope, no Conns in Conn - or anyone else in Conn for that matter.
In a nutshell:Just a memory.

Very nice page, interesting story, that would be cool if it was your family! I love to explore places like this and imagine what it was like. Enjoyed it, wish you have more! :o)
