Danville is a college town of about 15,500 people in Central Kentucky, 35 miles southwest of Lexington. It is one of the oldest and most historic communities in the Commonwealth. Situated on the southern edge of Kentucky's famed bluegrass region, Danville is surrounded by some of the prettiest horse farms on earth.

    Like you I enjoy the smaller towns in the US and this page is a great illustration of what they can offer. I was fascinated by those early operations and loved the concept of the labyrinth :)

    Wonderful tribute for July 4th! Labyrinth information is excellent. Enjoyed seeing and reading about the post office, old jail, court house (of course!), and the account of McDowell's operation. Terrific.
