Restaurant Name: Street Vendors at Fisherman's Warf
Be sure to try the seafood chowder served in a bowl made from fresh baked sourdough bread, from one of the many vendors who line the street at the main entrance to Fisherman's Warf. It's a great choice for a quick, inexpensive lunch. There will be a counter with a stool where you can eat right there on the sidewalk. With the sights, sounds, and smells of the warf, coupled with the yummy chowder and bread, it is a unique sensory delight.

Nemorino Tue Nov 27, 2007 21:21 UTC Brings back memories of the years I spent in Berkeley in the 1960s. We used to do live radio broadcasts from Alcatraz when it was occupied by the Indians. I also went by train (from Chicago) but it wasn't called Amtrak at that time. | Paul2001 Wed Sep 26, 2007 20:40 UTC A joy to read. San Francisco is so beautiful that I ache to visit it again. | easterntrekker Mon Aug 6, 2007 23:59 UTC I really enjoyed reading you tips on San Francisco. We will be heading there nest month on our way to China. We were there about 12 years ago but this time I want to go to Alcatraz.. | LoriPori Mon Feb 26, 2007 20:03 UTC Needless to say, Hans and I also loved San Francisco. What an amazing city! And now we'll just have to return - we forgot to kiss on the Golden Gate Bridge. |
