Arizona: Back Roads and Byways

by Stephen-KarenConn - last update: Jan 2, 2006

A Saguaro Cactus and the Superstition Mountains
Welcome to Arizona
Arizona is a wondrous state. It is best known for the Grand Canyon, and also for it's deserts. But Arizona also has alpine peaks, sparkling lakes, green forests, rushing rivers and much more to be discovered by the adventurous traveler.

As I have time to build my VT tips I hope to eventually have seperate pages many localities throughout Arizona. For some out-of-the-way spots, or even a few more popular sites for which I only have one or two tips, l will be putting them up here under Arizona Back Roads and Byways.

Enjoyed this page Stephen. I think Arizona is one of the prettiest states with the cacti, Superstition Mountain and Tonto National Park. Do you think it was named for the Lone Ranger's side-kick - Tonto!!!
