The people in South Korea are amazing. Everyone we met was so nice and welcoming. Anyone who could speak a pinch of english was interested in trying to talk with us, or to hear us speak.

I had the great opportunity to gain employment with a university who was running an english summer camp for students and adults. I spent 3 weeks at a beautiful campus nestled among some small mountains just about an hour outside of seoul in Yongin.

There i met some amazingly wonderful people, allt he students were incredible, they would take us into seoul for the weekends and after the job was over, we traveled around seoul and also went to sokcho on the east coast with our new friends. the area around sokcho has some amazing sights and historical places to see.
in seoul i definately reccomend that you see geongbokgung palace, dongdaemun and namdaemun markets, the world cup stadium if you like soccer, for tourists, itaewon is crawling with foreigners, the army base is nearby, so there are many american millitary there, as well as roaming english teachers who come to the area to party with other foreigners from around the world.
