This is a place where muscles are plenty.

This is Venice's Muscle Beach ,a place where you can work out lift weights or just do your dayly exersizes
Muscle Beach used to be in Santa Monica ,way back in the 30's 40's 50's Muscle Beach was more a place where young people showed off how atletic they were ,many gymnastics equipment was available.
Later on the Muscle Beach was moved to Venice and it became more a weighlifting & bodybuilding area.
Some say that today's Muscle Beach is not as much fun as in the
Good Old Days .

Harry Perry the street performer.

Harry Perry , the street musician on Roller Blades.
Harry is quite the caracter ,plays his music ,entertains the people and of course welcome any donation people are willing the give him.
Harry is just one of the many street performers .
There are many more like Harry and either you like them or you don't
I thought they were ok ,one thing I must tell you when you take a picture or Video of these street performers you better be willing to give them a donation ,they don't like it to much if you don't.

Ocean Front Walk with many shops .

Henna Tattoos , dyed T-Shirts
Cheap sunglasses .
All kind of souvenirs with the Venice
Beach CA logo on them.
Street performers everywhere , Paintings ,Artist drawings .
Well some say this all very '' Tacky ''
while others like this stuff.
Me personaly I don't care much for this type of stuff so I just Video tape it and then walk around and enjoy the beach etc.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Venice Beach is an ok place to visit but it has its drawbacks like some tacky areas.
Cons:The Sun shines and the beach and walk/bike path is awsome.

Hans, Nice sequence on the Venice bike con job! There are also dopesters, hipsters, skinsters, quipsters, gagsters and pickpockets active so watch your bucks there. Lot's of ways to skin a cat or separate you from your money. Doug

That sport looked like "Hand Ball" , Hans. Great page about Venice..such a super place for athlectic types..what a wow of a skateboard park. vivid photos.
