A beautiful old City with a beautiful old house. This little charming house is the oldest house in Delft
When I was a youngster I lived a couple minutes walk from this house,I did not have a clue than that the house was the oldest in Delft. I had to come to Canada to find that out. |
|  | Delft was our first stop on our Holland vacation.
Lori & I attended a Reunie from my
grade school years.
It was held in this charming restaurant called Emauspoort Herberg.We had a wonderful buffet style meal and a few drinks .
I met lot's of shool mates, some I remembered and some I did not. |
This is the Oostpoort or Eastgate still in great shape.
The city of Delft in the middel ages was surrounded by a wall with gates and draw bridges they were there to keep the bad guys out. | | |

I was lucky enough to spend a few days in Delft, a beautiful small town. I loved the flower market, the churches, canals - and Vermeer and Fabritius. leyle |
