A journey to Egypt encompasses more than just pyramids and statues, as grand as they may be. There is also another Egypt worth exploring; its people and their wicked sense of humour. The alleyways of Cairo with its caos of noise and smells. The tranquility of the Nile. The calm of an oasis. A journey through Egypt is a Victorian adventure with 21st century access.
During my three visits I spent a total of around three months travelling the country, though a great trip could be accomplished in around two weeks with carefull planning or with a reputable company.
I have avoided prices on the whole as they would have changed, but have tried to give guidelines anyway. A country with a 6000 year history does not change that fast! |
