How you worried so when I lay for two weeks in a Thai hospital after being eaten by alsatians?

Your concern over my predicament having been bitten in the backside by a rodent whilst squatting in the Colombian jungle?

You even offered to send out bail money when I found myself in a Kazakh jail.

Yet your humour was tainted by affection so endearing. So contagious. A love that remained tangible even over ten thousand miles.

Through good and bad. You were there. Always.
