I m a backpacker in Australia now and I d be happy if i found some info on goin out in Sydney... therefore I m tryin to make it easy for tourists to Luxembourg to find what they re lookin for: alternative places to go out.

If you ever choose to go to Luxembourg and you don t really like that commercial kind of music with beats and stuff, you should be informed about where to go and what to see. There aren t many "alternative" spots to go and the few ones which are there are hidden. But once you ve found them you ll have fun.
Typical tourist attractions are easy to find but if you wanna go out at night here s the places you might wanna go:
for people who like alternative music, BRONX is probably the best. but sometimes on sundays or weekdays, the JAH BAR right next to the PULP club offers quite good music.
The best live concerts in town might be @ ATELIER...next door to BRONX (make sure to have a ticket).
Other nice concerts are @ KULTURFABRIK in Esch/Alzette(appr. 20km from Lux.-City) Once you re there u might wanna go to PEPITO'S or THE PITCHER. the places in Lux.-City mentioned above are to be found in the railway station area.
Downtown (Grund) you ll find cozy little pubs and freaky bars... whatever you look for you ll find it. A favourite among lux. people might be the Melusina but I dont like it because of the crap music.
