Bangkok is not what it used to be. Gone are the days of the song 'one night in Bangkok makes a hard man crumble.." It is now a bustling city, with tons of elevated highways and skytrain, (considerably less traffic) You just have to love the Thai culture and her people. Thais are gracious, kind, and polite. To lose your temper in Thailand is considered bad manners, but if you really just have to blow off steam, do so with a big smile on your face :) There are lots to see in the city of Bangkok, especially the "old city" where the amazing temples and palaces are. najamrulz Tue Apr 26, 2005 19:55 UTC Nice tips, i hope u add more soon. Well i liked Thompson's House and Museum a lot. The cafe and shop are really nice. They got great ties. They offer discount to students on entrance fee which is the best part. I saved TB 50 this way ;-) | ZanieOR Fri Mar 4, 2005 02:10 UTC I enjoyed your tips, and hope you plan on adding many more. |
