I travelled to the Dominican Republic four times. The first time together with my twin sister in 1994. We spent a two weeks holiday.

In 1995 I lived for 4 month in Santo Domingo. I joined a program for young professionals which was organised by AFS.

Finally I returned in March 2001 for a 10 days holiday. This time I traveled together with my ex-boyfriend.

Back again in 2007! Urgently needed a holiday and time to relax without doing nothing. So an all inclusive resort seamed to be a good option. What better than to go again to the Dominican Republic again. I've booked last minute a resort in Punta Cana and had a very relaxed holiday. Just for what I was looking for ...

Pros and Cons

Pros:lovely people, great music, beautiful country, wonderful beaches
Cons:udge gap between rich and poor
