What can I say about Scarborough? I moved here in about 1988. Loved it here, met and married my husband and I don't think that I would ever moved back down south again.
The weather is normally awful, cold wet windy. But the air is fresh and quite clean.
The people are on the whole friendly.
The children are at a small school, the school that they go to would fit into a year in a school in Harrow (which is where I'm from).
We have two lovely bays, the sand is clean and fine. One bay is full of arcades and amusements the other has been left virtually untouched.
We have a castle which provides a wonderful back drop to both of the bays. |
North Yorkshire Moors We aren't far from the North Yorkshire Moors. Beautiful countryside in almost all weathers and seasons.
I will have to be organised and sort out pictures! |
