Somtimes places, prices, accommodation, transport and people of these countries change fast over the years and some do not seem to change that much at all. When we travel we usually go away between the months of December and March for around 4 to 6 weeks as we need to get away from the British winter for a while.

Exploring the country away from the towns and cities is a great way to see the beautiful scenery.

Accommodation

We usually stay in budget accommodation when we travel, but some of the locations and places we have stayed have been better than 5 star hotels for the sheer pleasure of being amongst the real people of the countries visited.

Hikkaduwa Sri Lanka

We usually stay a good while on the coast when traveling because I love the warmer waters of tropical places as it makes a change from the cold english channel.

How amazing it is sometimes when you travel to go back in time. If you know what I mean.

My girfriend and I except the fact that we are very lucky to be able to travel to far away countries to see beautiful places and meet wonderful people, and that is why we will keep traveling for as long as we can because sometimes you just have to pinch yourself just to make sure it's all real.
