Accra, Ghana Shangri-La Hotel - Accra, Ghana If you are visiting Accra you owe it to yourself to stay at the Shangri-La Hotel. It is five minutes from the Airport and just outside the traffic nightmare of Accra. It feels like Africa-nothing western about it. The staff is terrific, the rooms are clean and the beer is cold. It was my first stop in Africa so I have a soft spot for it - but after visiting four other African countries and as many hotels, the Shangri-La remains my favorite. Enjoy ... and give them my best. |
